  2. COMMANDS MENU HELP

  5. The Commands Menu allows specific actions like movement of the
  6. Active Cell
  7. , calculation order, insertion or deletion of rows and
  8. columns, filling in of data over selected ranges and Easy Sort.
  9.

  11. Select                                            
  12. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.  
  14. Use Select to reposition the worksheet at a specified location.
  15.  
  16. All Cells - selects all Cells between A1 and the rightmost,
  17. bottommost cell containing data.  The window is repositioned with
  18. A1 in the upper left corner.  Shift F9 key also performs this
  19. Function.
  20.  
  21. Last Cell -  selects the cell in the rightmost, bottommost position
  22. which contains data, and positions that Cell in the upper left
  23. corner of the window.  Shift F10 key performs the same function.
  24.  
  25. Active Cell - positions the display so that the currently selected
  26. Cell is in the upper left corner of the display.
  27.  
  28. Specify Location - displays a requester into which you can type
  29. the Column/Row location of any cell in the worksheet.  This
  30. display will position with this cell in the top left corner.
  31.  
  32. Specify Name - displays the Name requester so you may select
  33. a Cell location by Range Name.

  36. Calculate                                             
  37. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

  39. Dictates the timing of recalculations.  Calculations can occur as:
  40.  
  41.    Automatic - the entire Worksheet recalculates each time any Cell
  42.                is modified.  Note: Only those cells which are
  43.                affected by the data you enter are actually
  44.                recalculated.  This dramatically improves recalc
  45.                time compared to previous releases.
  46.  
  47.    Manual    - the Worksheet is recalculated only when the
  48.                Calculate Now Menu Item is selected.
  49.  
  50.    Now       - causes immediate recalculation when evoked.

  55. Cell Note                                          
  56. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  57.  
  58. Add is used to either specify or modify 5 lines of Text for a Cell
  59. Note which may be either spoken, written or both.
  60.  
  61. Erase allows the deletion of an existing note.

  65. Insert/Delete                                      
  66. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  68. Insert allows insertion of either one or a multiple of Rows and
  69. Columns.  Blank Rows are inserted above the Active Cell in any
  70. Column while blank Columns are inserted to the left in Row.
  71.  
  72. Delete can remove either single or multiple selected Rows or Columns.
  73. MaxiPlan will respond with a Requester asking you to confirm any
  74. Row or Column deletions.  Deletion will remove all data and formats
  75. in the deleted Rows and Columns.  Thus any Cell References to the
  76. deleted Rows or Columns may result in an error in calculations.

  79. Fill                                              
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  82. Fill Down copies all information from the top Row of the selected
  83. Range to all other Rows in the Range.  Formulas containing Relative
  84. Cell References are adjusted.  Labels and values are simply copied.
  85. Absolute Cell References may have to be adjusted.

  87. Fill Down is also accessed by:  Right Amiga Key with D
  88.                                 F7 Function Key
  89.  
  90. Fill Right copies all information from the left most Column of the
  91. selected Range to all other Columns in the Range.  Relative Cell
  92. References, labels and values are handled as in Fill Down.  Absolute
  93. Cell References may have to be adjusted.

  95. Fill Right is also accessed by:  Right Amiga Key with R
  96.                                  F8 Function Key

  99. Read Range                                        
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  102. Amiga's voice will recite data entries in a selected Range.
  103. Used to proof read data entries against a source document.

  106. Easy Sort                                         
  107. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  109. This is used to sort the Rows of a selected Range based on the
  110. contents in the Cells of the first left most Column of the selected
  111. Range.  Easy Sort can also be accessed by F6 with Shift Key.
